Volunteer

We cannot effectively work this ministry alone. There are currently 59 public elementary schools in Cheatham, Dickson, Houston, Humphreys, Montgomery, Robertson and Stewart counties and on Ft. Campbell, Kentucky...the area we cover. There are only TWELVE Good News Clubs at present.

The policy of Child Evangelism Fellowship has always been to 'ask God and tell His people'. That's what, by faith, we will always endeavor to do. Below is a summary of ministry needs. Please pray to see how the Lord might lead you to respond. There's a form at the bottom of the page for your use and, of course, if you have any questions or comments, let us know.

*Work in a Good News Club - one day a week, or as often as your schedule permits. Volunteers needed to teach, do administrative tasks, provide crowd control and just show the children the love of Jesus. No experience necessary, as we will train you.

*Be a prayer warrior - for the children and the ministry as a whole. We email prayer requests each week and ask that you lift up these petitions to the Father.

*Join our Committee - there is so much work to be done that cannot possibly be done by just one or two people. The Committee consists of business-minded people that help in all aspects of the work from fund raising to sharing the ministry with others; providing accountability to helping in a Good News Club or fair.

*Lend your expertise - there are so many things that need to be done and many hands make light work. Perhaps God has gifted you with a skill or talent that might benefit this ministry; perhaps there is something you have that the Lord will lead you to donate. Please talk to us; we are always open to however the Lord wants to provide the needs.

*Administrative help - there's always a need for help with administrative tasks, whether it be an extra set of eyes for the website, stuffing envelopes, inputting information on the computer, etc.

*Financial Support - There are many expenses to running this ministry, from the gasoline it takes to go share the ministry at churches or start clubs in the schools, to the office equipment and supplies needed to run the day-to-day operations of the ministry. If the Lord leads you to give financially, all monies go to support the local ministry of CEF. CEF is a charter member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
